How to install the air source filter of the air source processor?
Date:2026-03-16 12:00:00 Author:Fimuer Control Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

The installation steps for the air source filter of the air source processor are as follows:

1. Determine the installation location: The air source filter should be installed at the front end of the air source treatment system, close to the air source inlet, so as to carry out preliminary purification of the compressed air entering the system.

2. Check component integrity: Ensure that the air source filter and its accessories (such as seals, connectors, etc.) are complete and undamaged.

3. Connecting pipes:

Select the appropriate couplings and sealing rings based on the pipe diameter and the filter interface specifications.

Align the pipe with the filter interface and ensure a tight and leak-free connection.

Use the appropriate tools (such as a wrench) to tighten the connection, but avoid applying excessive force to prevent damage.

4. Pay attention to the installation direction:

On the air source filter, there is usually an arrow indicating the direction of the airflow. When installing, make sure that the arrow points in the same direction as the actual airflow.

The filter should be installed vertically, with the cup side facing downwards, to facilitate drainage and observation.

5. Installation of drainage system:

According to the drainage method of the filter (such as manual drainage or automatic drainage), install the corresponding drainage device.

Make sure that the drainage device is tightly connected without any leakage, and is easy to operate and maintain.

6. Check for sealing integrity:

After the installation is completed, conduct a sealing test on the connection points to ensure there is no leakage.

You can apply soapy water to the connection area and observe if any bubbles form to determine if there is a leak.

7. Debugging and Operation:

After confirming that the installation is correct, turn on the gas source and observe the operation of the filter.

Check whether the drainage of the filter is normal and ensure there is no accumulated water that could affect the filtering effect.

Check whether the system pressure is stable and ensure that the filter does not cause excessive pressure loss to the system.

8. Installation Precautions:

Avoid proximity to heat sources: The air source filter should not be installed near heat sources such as air compressors to prevent the high temperature from causing damage to the filter and affecting the filtering effect.

Regular drainage: According to the drainage method of the filter, perform regular drainage operations to prevent excessive water accumulation from affecting the filtering effect.

Regularly replace the filter element: Based on the usage of the filter and the lifespan of the filter element, replace the filter element regularly to ensure the filtering effect.

Maintenance: Regularly perform maintenance on the air source filter, including cleaning the surface of the filter, checking the sealing performance at the connection points, etc., to ensure its normal operation.
